Getting to Old Trafford – Transport & Parking

Train & Tram:

Manchester Piccadilly: Main train hub with regular connections across the UK.

From Piccadilly, take a Metrolink Tram (Altrincham or Eccles line) to Old Trafford tram stop (15 mins).

Alternatively, board a tram to Exchange Quay or Pomona and walk (~15 mins).


Driving & Parking:

Parking is limited directly around the stadium. We recommend:

Trafford Wharf Road paid lots (pre-booking essential)

Manchester United Official Car Parks (E1, W2, N2) – must be booked in advance via manutd.com

Park & Ride: Options available from Ladywell and Sale Water Park tram stops.
